According to Yahoo! News, a new Rasmussen poll shows that
the “Tea Party” now receives more support on a Congressional ballot than the
Republican Party. What exactly is the
Tea Party? The Tea Party was formed by
voters who were unhappy with President Obama’s stimulus plan. The Party focuses on opposing any tax
increases and expansion of federal government spending. The poll suggests that the Tea Party may be
gaining support as a result of unhappiness with the progress of the Democratic
Congress and fighting among conservative Republicans. Specifically, the poll asked: "Okay, suppose the Tea Party
Movement organized itself as a political party. When thinking about the next
election for Congress, would you vote for the Republican candidate from your
district, the Democratic candidate from your district, or the Tea Party candidate from your
district?" The answers were 36%
Democrat, 23% Tea Party, and 18% Republican.
The Tea Party plans to hold its first national convention in Nashville in January
2010.

nominations reviewed by an objective individual who narrowed down the
list to three names, including Hanes. Hanes, following a progression
in her relationship with Hanes, allegedly began to withdraw from the
nomination process. President Obama nominated Michael Cotter, a
nomination which i... Continue reading...

Leader Harry Reid, would cost $848 billion.
